Dortmund will be without defenders Nico Schlotterbeck and Soumaila Coulibaly who are both out due to injuries. While Schlotterbeck had been dealing with fitness issues, Coulibaly picked up an injury in training recently and had to be ruled out. In the duo's absence, Mats Hummels and Niklas Sule is expected to feature as the centre-back pairing.
Aside from the centre-backs, Thomas Meunier, Julien Duranville and Mateu Morey also remain sidelined for the game against Bochum.
Bochum will miss the services of Keven Schlotterbeck , Marko Johansson and Philipp Forster due to injuries.
After having succumbed to a 5-1 defeat against Wolfsburg in their previous match, Bochum boss Thomas Letsch is likely to make a few changes to his last lineup in order take points off title-chasing Dortmund.
